Here is is a more accurate depiction from the Blockcerts website. It is important to highlight that this is an issuer initiated process. And the recipient keys are generated from the wallet. Nothing touches the blockchain until the Issuer registers the batch of credentials to chain.

Hi, does anyone has a more detailed presentation of the credential issuing process to share? How does the issuer know who is the authentic recipient that is invited to receive a credential? What exactly is stored in the blockchain etc? If there is such a detailed description resource, please share.
