Return user messages to Wallet from introduction call?

Is there any way to return a message to the Wallet from the introduction call, that will then get shown in the app?

So either error messages or success messages (e.g., 'Your key has been received. We will email you when your certificate is ready. Thank you.")

I found this post, but it was specifically to do with messages in the log:

Is there a way to see more detailed failure messages on Android? If I open it with Android Studio would more detailed messages appear in logcat?
