Hello! I am a student and currently I am writing a paper about opportunities to use the blockchain technology in registration of certificates and diplomas in Russia. I would like to ask you some questions that would help me in my research. 1.When was Blockcerts launched and was it initiated more by commercial goals or institutional and governmental projects? 2. Hi Anastasia, I’m not a Blockcerts developer but you will find many insights in the various blog posts of Learning machine on their [medium page](https://medium.com/learning-machine-blog). Also, the [jrc paper](http://publications.jrc.ec.europa.eu/repository/bitstream/111111111/49552/1/jrc108255_blockchain_in_education%281%29.pdf) will give you many information on the blockchain in education and the Blockcerts project itself. Still, I haven’t found reliable information on how adopted is the Blockcerts technology among Universities… I’m also looking forward to any input on this one! Nice day to you, Florent.
