Edx offers a course for [the Hyperledger project](https://www.edx.org/course/blockchain-business-introduction-linuxfoundationx-lfs171x)  
It’s not technical–focuses mostly on conceptual stuff. I’ve taken it and thought it was good intro to private ledgers. They offer a cert for ~$100 I didn’t get it but it might be something of interest for you.

Hi Lee,

Creating and issuing records is an Issuer initiated process. This will begin with them invited you to download the app and add them as an issuer. An visual outline of this entire process can be found here:
